Continuation: THE BUILDING IS NOW VACANT AND APPEARS USED FOR STORAGE. DURING THE SITE VISIT TO BEAVER CUNTY, LINDSAY DYLE VISITED THE JONES & PLUMMER TRAIL MUSEUM, WHICH REPORTED THAT THE BUILDING WAS RECENTLY SOLD AT AUTION “FOR A FEW HUNDERED DOLLARS.” GOOGLE STREETVIEW IMAGES FROM 2014 SHOW THE SCHOOL WAS VACANT INSIDE, BUT SHOWS OUTSIDE ACTIVITY WITH PALLETS AND WHAT APPEARS TO BE STONE SLABS. THE SITE VISIT IN 2019 SHOWS CONSTRUCTION WORK MAY SPORADICALLY CONTINUE AT THE SITE. THE TARPS ON THE FORMER SCHOOL YARD MAY COVER STONE SLABS. THE ROOF APPEARS TARPED; THERE ARE CRACKS IN THE STUCCO WHICH IS MISSING IN SOME PLACES EXPOSING THE BRICK TO THE ELEMENTS. AS OF 2019, THE GATE SCHOOL REMAINS IN THE ORGINAL LOCATION AND CONVEYS THE ORIGINAL DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION OF THE WPA’S WORK. AT THE END OF CRESCENT TEXAS AT BRACH 4TH RETAINS THE SETTING OF THE SCHOOL GROUNDS, MINIMAL HOUSING INTRUSION, AND LARGE AGRICULTURAL FIELD. THE BUILDING IS THREATENED WITH NEGLECT AS THE CONSTRUCTION PROJECT APPEARS ON A HIATUS.
